A square bajuband or arm ornament set with navratna gemstones, mounted in gold. The reverse has a floral motif in red, green, blue, and white fine quality enamel on a gold ground with a seed pearl cord attached to the terminals.

The navratnas, viz., ruby (sun), pearl (moon), emerald (Mercury), diamond (Venus), red coral (Mars), yellow sapphire (Jupiter), blue sapphire (Saturn), hessonite, a golden-coloured garnet or zircon (Rahu, the ascending lunar node), and cat's eye chrysoberyl (Ketu, the descending lunar node) represent the powers of the nine planets or deities and can channel these powers to bestow good health and fortune on those who wear them.
