In this painting Radha is shown busy bathing and rinsing her long, beautiful hair. Krishna has decided not to lose this opportunity to create mischief and is seen peeping out of the top balcony holding a lotus in his hand. A sakhi (female friend) tries to stop him but in vain. The distinct style of the Bundi school of painting is reflected in the swirling clouds, swaying palms trees and rich foliage, along with the facial features of the very subjects. Jars of wine are seen placed inside the niches and another sakhi approaches Radha with new clothes. A banana flower also delicately overhangs from the wall, bearing witness to the scene.
