‘BANDHANI ODHANI‘

'Bandhani' is a traditional Indian tie-dye technique and 'mukaish' is a traditional metal embroidery technique from India. This 'odhani' features very fine 'bandhani' work which is rare compared to the textiles seen today.

This 'odhani' was used to cover the head of the bride during marriage ceremonies of the Memon families in Gujarat.
