A tea kettle with a burner stand from present day Bangladesh, stamped with the coat of arms of the House of Dighapatia. This piece comprises three parts; a stand, a burner, and the kettle and is in good condition. The kettle has latches at both the sides to hold it in place on the stand. This would have functioned very much like a Samovar, gracing the mantelpiece.
The hallmarks are clearly visible on the kettle, and it is British sterling silver from the twentieth century.
