A tea kettle with a milk jug and a sugar pot. Each piece bears a 'Maciel' maker's mark, indicating a silver manufacturing unit in Mexico City, Mexico. The pieces also have a stamp of an eagle, which was in use since the late 1940s as a mark of sterling silver manufacturers. Mexico is one of largest producers of silver, and silver from there is highly regarded for its purity.
