Flat weave wool rug


Kilims are flat woven rugs without any pile. The designs are by and large angular geometric patterns.Kilims are usually uneven in their shapes because of the sizes and weaving technique, mostly interlocking of warp threads.
These are woven across many regions like Perisa, Caucasus, Central Asia, this particular one comes from Turkey.It has a geometric tree motif enclosed in a hexagon that forms continuous three columns. The colors over a period of time have mellowed and comprise of orange, brown and reds.
