An extremely rare and covetable set of similarly matched earrings made in gold and constructed of concaving gold discs with exquisite granulation work depicting peacocks and ornate borders; and stamped figures of two peacocks mirroring each other at the bottom of each disc. The discs are connected to two tubular units tapering towards the end but terminating into hollow spheres complete with granulation work and featuring a fluted gold unit in the centre. Akota earrings are typically made in silver or guilt silver, making this set of gold earrings a highly collectible lot.
