Quick Zoom

A hinged, rigid bangle- bracelet with a band of red enamel set with diamonds articulating the Sanskrit phrase from the epic, Mahabharata, anto nasty pipasayastushtistu paramam sukham, meaning 'desire is endless; contentment is the best happiness'; a delicate enameled flower on the inside in green and pink, in 18 K gold

Incorporating a phrase from the epic, Mahabharata, this piece reflects the spiritual nature of the 'Full Circle' line of jewelry from Shaill Jhaveri couture, and the designer's own introspection."This past year I feel like I've been at a crossroads, personally and professionally; this led to reading a lot about India and spiritualism. I wanted to do something more meaningful than the jewelry I've done in the past; different in every way" (interview with the designer, July 2008).
