A very unusual 18K white gold wristwatch, ref. GPVH and case serial number 11'166, is one of the most precisely manufactured complications featuring two apertures for jumping hours and geometric moon phases, which automatically adjusts every 6 hours and are calculated to deviate one day every 139 years. The rectangular dial has blue steel hands and a raised crown on the side, with a skeletonised reverse. This watch functions on a calibre GUB 60 automatic movement with 35 jewels. Dial, case and movement signed.

Inspired by a 1950s camera, the present lot features an unusual design, and is crafted from a block of solid 18K white gold. It was part of a special project initiated by Goldpfeil in conjunction with watchmaker Vianney Halter, inviting seven members of the Acad??mie Horlogere des Createurs Independants to create cutting-edge timepieces.
