SET OF FOUR `DIVINA` PENS BY VISCONTI

An intriguing collection of pens inspired by the Divine Proportion, designed as per the golden number 1.618 with these nuances reflecting in the spiral that goes around the body, the length of the cap and the length of the pen when closed and open. The set consists of a fountain pen, a roller pen, a ballpoint pen and a sketchpen; and is composed of celluloid in a reddish brown colour with variegated patterns and blue and white lines. This special colour and pattern is known as 'Desert Springs'. The trims are plated with platinum. Accompanied by an information booklet and an authenticity card.

91 from a limited edition of 1618

The golden number, known as phi after Greek sculptor Phidias, refers to the number 1.618 that is said to determine the proportion most aesthetically pleasing to the human eye - also known as the Golden Ratio by the Greeks and the Divine Proportion by Renaissance artists. It was allegedly used in the architecture of the pyramids of Giza and by Le Corbusier, as well as by artists including Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci and Salvador Dali.
