Wool on wool foundation

Shiraz is a city in South west Iran and Kilims are flat woven rugs without any pile. The designs are by and large angular geometric patterns. Kilims are usually uneven in their shapes because of the sizes and weaving technique, mostly interlocking of warp threads.
The field has a beautiful abrash and seven rows of geometric forms resembling the flowers in bloom in various hues of reds, browns and blues.

Please note that there will be import restrictions on this Lot in the USA, UK, and Brazil. Potential Buyers are advised to check import regulations to their country prior to making a bid decision.
