Suzani is a Persian word and it means embroidery or literally needlework, Suzani is also associated withthe embroidery specific to Central Asian countries but is also used to describe embroidery work.
This stunning shawl depicts a picturesque landscape; the design plan comprises of a singular unit that is continuously repeated across the shawl.Though the embroidered thread has worn away at certain places over the years, one can still see the intricacy of the piece.Again there is no telling apart of the front from the back -
