PATEK PHILIPPE: 'TOPHAT' 18 K YELLOW GOLD WRISTWATCH, REF. 1450

This watch, with it's unusual hooded lugs is also known as 'Tophat' among collectors. It was produced between 1940 through the 1960s.

Mens 18 K Yellow Gold rectangular wristwatch, ref. 1450, 18 jewel 8 adjustment manual wind movement cal. 9-90, matte silver dial with applied yellow gold dot and stick hour markers, yellow gold stick hands, subsidiary seconds dial at the 6 o'clock position, attached to a signed brown alligator strap with a signed 18 K yellow gold buckle, c. 1947, 25 mm x 38 mm
