A spaciously drawn carpet from the northern Caucasus mountains. The midnight blue field contains three prominent stepped diamond medallions. The open areas of the field are dotted with abstract sectioned squares and rosettes. An ivory ground major border containing interconnected stars surrounds the central panel. Two outer and inner minor borders flank the major border, one containing geometric flowers and the other containing sectioned interlocking triangles depicting a scrolling vine.

There is a black fabric sleeve sown on the back of the carpet in case it is desired to be hung
