The present lot comprises drawings on five postcards and one invitation card, all executed in varied mediums. The invitation card (f) carries a drawing on its plain side, the reverse of which bears a message written by Nazm- ul- Hasan, who was friends with M F Husain and purchased the work directly from him. The message records that the drawing was made by the artist, over tea and kebabs, at a roadside 'dhaba' in January 1965. The message is further authorised by Nazm- ul- Hasan's signature.
