This carpet is reminiscent of a garden in full bloom and has its origins in the region bordering the Caucasus mountains. The central section of this handwoven carpet depicts an endless field of blooming flowers, with each containing a flowering bud positioned over two pairs of layered leaves on a stalk. The central section, or the garden, is surrounded by three narrow borders - two on a white base with flowers and leaves and one on a red base with rosettes and bars.
