A unique copy from the library of Khushwant Singh, with his bookplate on the front pastedowns.

Inscribed "To Tatty - from Khushwant' New Delhi - April '55" at top right corner of the pastedown.

This book is the first full-dress study of Sher-Gil's life and work by her close friend, published four years after her death and carrying extracts from many letters between the two.
