"R Siva Kumar: Your use of colour in... recent work [has] a colour repertory that is more intense than usual; with reds that almost burn the eyes, phosphorescent greens and fluorescent blues and blazing oranges there is collision of complementary hues in many of them. You almost set up a clash between the colour and drawing in these paintings whereas in the past, even your brightest of paintings, colour was usually subsumed to drawing.
