Lots 51, 52 and 71 are each a set of three small format works by artists F N Souza, S H Raza and Sunil Das respectively. They were created for the exhibition An Ode to Independence, organised by Apparao Galleries at Air Gallery in London in 1997 to celebrate 50 years of India's Independence. Each set is a unique representation of the artist's vision commemorating this national milestone.
