A decade after Coco Chanel's death in 1971, the celebrated designer Karl Lagerfeld was brought on board, who successfully revamped the brand, including integrating the interlocked "CC" of the monograph as the instantly recognisable company logo. Lagerfeld revived the 2.55 handbag, reintroducing it as "Chanel Classic." Over the years, the brand has introduced many handbags, often variations of the same classic design - including the Chanel Flap Bag, the Chanel Shopping Tote, and many more - each one emanating the same fierce spirit and elegant functionality as the original.
