A fine example of attention-to-detail, the crescent shaped maang tika is set with tapered baguette diamonds. The inside of the crescent consists of a circular emerald cabochon with an immediate surround of rose-cut diamonds and a further board surround of keshi seed pearls suspending a stiff fringe of bezel-set circular rose-cut diamonds. The crescent further suspends a similarly designed fringe of rose-cut diamonds, keshi seed pearls and emerald beads. The maang tika is accompanied by a similarly detailed hair support comprising of four identical units of pear-shaped emeralds with a diamond-set surround, suspending a small fringe of pearls below; mounted in gold.
