When I look upon some of her works, I feel she has invented the colour red. Or even, shades of reds. And then we have these sudden, inexplicable yet essential spots and white shafts piercing a mass of dark, tangled matter which, until that moment, appeared to be looking for light. Her unmistakable concern is not to make something new but to make something come alive.
