PERIOD SILVER DOWRY ‘HASLI‘ NECKLACE

A beautiful silver wire torque featuring a disc in the centre depicting an eight-petalled flower with engravings and silver concentric rings that align in a graduating pattern around the edges and meant to rest around the neck.

Pieces such as the present lot were usually worn by women from the Kutch area of Gujarat and were presented as part of a bride's dowry by her father.
