Born in 1968, Pandit Khairnar received his Diploma in Art Teaching in Aurangabad in 1989, after which he received another Diploma in Fine Arts from the L.S. Raheja School of Art, Mumbai, in 1992.

H. Raza at the National Gallery of Modern Art (NGMA), Mumbai, in 2000.
Khairnar won the Bombay Arts Society Award in 1992 and 1991; and the State Award from the South Central Zone Cultural Centre (SCZCC), Nagpur, in 1992.
