Manchershaw F Pithawalla

Born in 1872, he was from a village in Surat and went to art school from 1888 to 1896 as a student of Griffiths. In 1894 he won his first award at the Bombay Art Society, and became the only artist to win three successive prizes, including a gold medal in 1908. He showed in London in 1911 at the Dore Gallery. He passed away in 1937.
