Born in 1956, Karan Khanna is the son of artist Krishen Khanna. He once accompanied Henri Cartier-Bresson on a photography shoot in Chandini Chowk, New Delhi. The legendary photographer inspired Khanna to make photography not just a profession but a way of life. Khanna worked in advertising until 1985, when he took up photography full time.
