Amitabha Banerjee

Amitabha Banerjee's forte is the forceful, economical and apt use of line, the synergy of which brings his works to life. This rightly makes him a master of the graphic printmaking medium. His affair with the medium began when he participated in a workshop conducted by American graphic artist, Paul Lingren of the Smithsonian Institute in Delhi, while still a student at the Government School of Arts in 1970.
