Read More Rajiba Lochan Pani was born in 1978 in Bhadrak, Orissa. He completed his Bachelor’s degree in Painting from Kala Bhavan at Visva Bharati, Santiniketan, West Bengal, in 2001, and his Master’s degree in Creative Painting from the Sir J.J. School of Art, Mumbai, in 2003. Through his work, Pani makes an attempt to communicate, to resonate and send vibes to all out there who are concerned about the destruction of the environment, the loss of harmony between man and nature, and the manipulation of the human mind for commercial or political gains. The artist has held several solo and group exhibitions both in India and abroad. His most recent solo shows include 'The Missing Link' at Gallery Kolkata, Kolkata, in 2007 and 'Into the Interior' at Arushi Arts, New Delhi, in 2006. Group shows featuring his work have been held in Mumbai, New Delhi, Bangalore, Kolkata and London among other cities. The artist lives and works in Baroda.
