- - An unusually late Bombay landscape, this aerial portrayal of the city by night harks back to Raza`s days at Express Block Studio in 1943, when he painted the city`s busy streets as he observed it from his window at work. This piece, however, also reflects the artist`s time in France in the choice of medium – acrylic rather than watercolour, having been exposed to its potential during his years in Paris.
