Prashant draws inspiration almost entirely from personal experiences. Art, as a hobby,
doesn't come cheap and promises no guaranteed monetary returns especially to upcoming
artists. Hence, it is a rather risky profession for people who are economically
challenged. This is a constant struggle that Prashant has to go through in his personal
life. He has to work hard in order to pursue his interest in painting and this is
reflected in his work. Prashant prefers to work on large spaces and admires the work of
Atul Dodiya.
He has completed his B.F.A. in Painting from the Sir J.J. School of Art (1999) in Mumbai
and is currently pursuing his M.F.A. Part I in Creative Painting at the same school.
